When Bella Swan moved to Forks, Washington from Phoinex Arizona she never dreamed that she would be accepted by her peers or even fall in love for that matter, she only thought about making it through her self imposed sentence to prove that she could do it. The first day of school she was the center of attention, everyone wanted to be her friend well, everyone except for the Cullens.
The Cullens never liked anyone to begin with not just because everyone in the town of Forks where boring but also because they where human. The Cullens themselves are vampires and have to hide that from prying eyes so they try not to get involved with the humans around them. That was until Bella Swan sat down in the cafeteria that day and her blood cried out to Edward Cullen in a way that slowly started to drive him mad but he figured that if he sat else where at lunch but when she sat next to him in Biology it was all he could do from not killing her where she sat.
At first he tried to switch out his biology class for another and when that didn’t work he ran to Tanya’s family so he wouldn’t drink her blood. When he went missing from school Bella knew it was all about her and started to feel just awful about it. But when Edward came back he was like a totally different person, he was open and cheerful and didn’t cringe when he was near her. The only catch was he didn’t want to be her friend.
This fact didn’t bother Bella, what did bother her was that he saved her from nearly dieing and wouldn’t answer any of her questions or give her the time of day, it wasn’t until he found himself falling madly in love with her and knew there was no way out that he gave in.
Falling for Bella and being around her was not easy for Edward. He had to do things the human way and endangered her life more then once. They survived Phoinex and James trying to kill her but when Jasper tried to kill Bella over a paper cut he knew it was more then time to leave her and find another way to live.
To say that Bella was depressed over this would be an understatement. She went catatonic. When Sam Ulley found her laying on the forest floor all she kept saying was ‘he’s gone’. It was hard on Charlie as well, having to hear her scream in the middle of the night, dealing with a totally unresponsive daughter. She finally started to come to when he threatened to send her back to her mother.
She started to go out more and then finally started to hang out with her old friend Jacob Black. She leaned on him for a lot of things, friendship, fixing the holes in her, fixing her bike so she could kill herself with it and soon it became more then a relationship. That’s also when Jacob found out he was a werewolf. He tried to put distance between them but Bella won that fight and with a little help figured out that Jacob was a werewolf. After she found that out, things where going good. The pack decided to keep Bella safe by hunting for Victoria, and while they were keeping her safe Jacob and Bella started to become more then just friends. But one day when he left her alone, and she craved to hear Edwards voice in her head she decided to go cliff diving which almost killed her. Thankfully Jacob saved her.
By jumping off the cliff, she changed her future, which Alice Cullen picked up on but since Alice can’t see things when werewolves are around all she saw was Bella jumping. She told Rosalie that Bella was going to jump and that she had to stop her. Edward found out about this and called the house, he asked for Charlie, saying that he was Dr. Cullen but Jacob answered and said he was at a funeral. Edward though it was Bella’s and took a flight to Italy, if Bella wasn’t alive then why should he live. Alice told Bella that Edward was going to Italy and she clued in fast. She decided that she had to save him so they flew to Italy and tried their best. They did make it out alive, but they had to promise the Volturi that they would turn Bella or they would have killed her.
Things went back to normal for a while, Charlie hated that Edward was back and Bella was grounded until graduation. Edward had forbid her to go the La Push and see Jacob under the pretense that young werewolves are very unstable. Victoria was still hunting Bella and Edward gave Bella an ultimatum. If she wanted Edward to turn her, she would have to marry him first.
After graduation they had to battle newborns and Victoria with the help of the werewolves, Edward ripped Victoria’s head off and burned her. Jacob was hurt when battle the newborns thanks to Leah Clearwater almost getting herself killed.
Now Jacob’s hurt, Bella’s confused and Edwards being patient, waiting in the wings for he decision.
